Science Laboratory Refurbishment Scheme

Location: Kingsmead School, Enfield, London.

Blox Architects’ Bid for Academy Condition Improvement Funding for Kingsmead School was Approved by the EFA in April 2018. Blox Architects working on behalf of CapitalPCC, prepared a bid for Kingsmead School in Enfield, for the complete refurbishment of their Science Block and for an overhaul of their existing science labs. The Condition Improvement Fund, (CIF 2018-2019), is run by the government and is the means for Academy Schools to secure Capital Funding for works via the Governements EFA, (Education Funding Agency).

Following a successful Condition Improvement Fund bid, Blox Architects then prepared specifications and design solutions for the project. On behalf of Kingsmead School Blox Architects Tendered the scheme and entered into contract with Pinnacle Furniture for the delivery of the scheme, www.pinnacle-furniture.co.uk.

Phase 1 Completed October 2018.
