The Black Lion is the oldest pub in Epping is said to have links with the infamous highwayman Dick Turpin. It is Grade II Listed.

The impact of Covid-19 has hit the hospitality sector hard, including Epping’s Black Lion PH. The structure is needed to enable the PH to trade in the outside air and comply with Government Guidelines on Covid-19.
